You're a busy man and I wont waste your time.
I just want to state for the record that 14 years later, the money
I spent on the Damien Death 7 String is the best & most longest
lasting thrill I have ever purchased. I think of that crazy 1996
flight over the sound in the small plane with Jeff Frohman piloting
and the taxi ride out to old man Wanzer's hill into your world (When
Jeff was commissioning the BC Rich metal plate doubleneck) and I
witnessed your empire and said to myself "whoa, this is something I
need to buy into"... and I planned the ultimate guitar cuz then and
only then, I Knew, it could become reality.
I couldn't afford it but I made it happen
anyway, and Ed, I am eternally grateful, only you could have pulled
this off, I know this in my heart. I still enjoy the eye popping out
of the skull look I get when fans/strangers/mosh'ers in the pit see
it for the first time, when they realize that its real as fuck, and
potentially deadly (The spike has been inside my thigh twice now(
very deep) and my lead singer's thigh once (he's learned to hang on
the other side now, for safety).
What a ride, Ed, Florida wouldn't have been the same without the
instrument, I could tell you your the Man but who would listen,
everybody knows this already...
PS I'd like to talk to you someday about incorporating my newly
designed onboard optical Theremin unit (just a tiny sensor mounted
on the bridge you play your hand over) as well as my Eddie Van Halen
(poundcake video) drill motor simulator which blends nicely with the
stutter switch you installed into other custom guitars, I've worked
hard to make it happen, and when playing these options are
effortless to engage, like a studio trick but onboard ready to
deploy on the fly... They sound sick
I am glad you are still happy, Letters like yours are what makes
this crazy Freakin' Rollercoaster business worth all the Bullshit I
have to deal with day in & day out !!!!!
Send me a picture of you with the guitar..
I will post it !!!!! Preferably an action shot !!!
Have you seen some of the new models, I've got one called the
Lobotomizer now, The Painkiller, Masher, Mutilator, BMF, All
real violent looking guitars... I still try to keep them
comfortable & balanced but sometimes it's hard. The new Predator is
very cool too.
Make sure you send me a picture, the photos I have are all
real old and most of them have gotten corrupted over the years !!!
