Purple Heart

Purple heart behaves like Maple & Ebony.
It makes excellent fingerboard wood.
Usually it is used for accenting other beautiful woods.
It's  too heavy for me to use as body wood.
It makes great stringers and rails

This Flying Vee looks like a very nicely made guitar
I had to search the web to find a good picture of a Purple Heart guitar
Usually the wood gets very dark and eventually turns a brownish blah color
Normally Not Recommended
