GEORGE W. BUSH
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20520

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement:
I was arrested in Kennebunkport , Maine , in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been 'lost' and is not available.       Hmmmm

Military:
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam

College:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.   I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost.

I began my career in the oil business in Midland Texas , in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.

With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS:

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union . During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America .

I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida , and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President of the United States, after losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My 'poorest millionaire, ' Condoleezza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President.

I am the all-time U.S. and world record -holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. history, Enron.

My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron & Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.

Note From Ed Roman

When I was a young I thought I knew everything. I was of course wrong, Now that I am older and have much more experience. I can now say that I still don't know everything.

However if the younger voters get this  Obama Character elected we can bend over an kiss our butts goodbye.

A Response From Richard Bowen

After reading you rant George Bush Resume I felt compelled to send a reply. I am glad and distressed to see that I am not the only person in the USA that believes that we have become a Third World Economy.
I saw this coming with the inception of NAFTA and it looks as though we have arrived. I do not, however, believe that this can be laid upon the shoulders of George W. he is far too stupid to have pulled off such a far reaching mess (I am refraining from calling this a Cluster F***).
George W. is just the figure head and our National level Elected Officials are carrying out the will of their true constituents; The Filthy Rich!
Folks like me, the poor, are and always have footed the bill so the rich can get richer. The very rich tend to make money hand over fist in times such as these.
The very rich money makers are not limited to people in the USA by a long shot: The profit from misfortune is world wide. I do not believe that our government is in charge of America; I believe that world wide Big Business is in charge of our country.
People elected to National Office are usually quite rich and have no idea what it is like to live as I do; nor do they care! Our Nationally Elected Government just tries to keep the process of gutting the American people in something resembling order. I recently watched George W. on TV. In the brief time that I watched him he did not make one coherent sentence.
I cannot believe that a moronic bastard like George W. could master mind the wholesale screwing of of the American people as we are seeing now! I am, admittedly, poor. I am disabled and live on fixed income. My meager income does not go nearly as far as it did a year ago. It took me three and a half years to win my disability case. (I am a United States Military Veteran to boot.) I'm very lucky that I did not wind up living under a bridge. People like George W. and our elected officials do not give a crap about people like me (the poor). In fact, I imagine they would like to take my meager income away from me. This is why I cannot afford to buy one of your fine guitars, Ed.
I also imagine this is why businesses are going under right and left in Western North Carolina and Nationwide. Ed, you might be in the class of "The Very Rich", but I doubt it. You do not seem to have the heart (or lack thereof) of the filthy rich. In fact, I would be surprised if I know anyone who knows anyone, who knows anyone, who knows anyone that is filthy rich.
The afore mentioned are the only ones who profit from the Republican invention of Trickle Down Economics. If I am very good and do exactly what Massa' wants and act exactly how Massa' wants me to act, I might occasionally get a crumb from Massa's table. But I'm not counting on it. That's what Trickle Down Economics means to me and most Americans, whether or not they are willing to admit it.
Back in 1941, during the FDR administration, the U.S. was still feeling the effects of the Great Depression. There was much unrest in the world. FDR was aching to get the U.S. into one or more of the conflicts overseas to help pull the country out of the depression. We had a little mishap on December seventh, 1941. It was a thing that became known as "The Day That Will Live In Infamy". AKA Pearl Harbor, anyone remember that?

There are people who believe that the White House received timely notice of Japanese intentions and that said information was suppressed to infuriate the American people into declaring war on Japan, which, of course they did in 1942. I see this Conspiracy Theory as not only possible or plausible, but probable. Now, does anyone see any similarities between Pearl Harbor and 9-11? There is a rather large body of evidence which indicates 9-11 could have been prevented. But our administration needed 9-11 to pass the Patriot Act and create The Ministry of Homeland Security. Pretty cool way to yank our Civil and Constitutional Rights from under us, isn't it?

Not to mention that it gave us probable cause (in the minds of some) to violate the rights of other countries and play biggest bully on the block. (I became disgusted with the way our country and military treats other countries when I was on active duty in the U.S. Navy. On a slightly related note: Have you ever noticed that the NSA, the CIA and the United States Navy are frequently all mentioned in the same sentence? Probably just more of my paranoia.)
My father was a staunch Republican and he hated Communists (the USSR). When he was still alive I managed to argue the point that the USSR was not Communist; rather they were Socialists of a sort. (There were a few true Communist societies in South America several years back. I'm uncertain of what ever happened to them.

True Communism is not a bad thing, but it tends to be rather short lived. It, instead, degenerates into something like the former Soviet Union.) My father also hated Liberals. I managed to make him see the similarities between conservatism and Socialism. Socialism is a very conservative system, it does not tolerate change well at all. Such a system also tends to give rise to Tyranny, such as existed in the former Soviet Union. As a side effect, Conservatism tends to stomp all over Civil and Constitutional rights; it is not a very tolerant system. Now we are coming up on eight years under conservative rule. Is it just me, or does this country appear to be going the way of the former Soviet Union economically and toward their former way of government?

Now to my final point. You stated in your rant that if Obama wins the election that we can all kiss our asses good-bye. This may be true. But I believe that we will be in no better shape if McCain wins. McCain has said that he is "Going to shake things up". A purposely vague statement that says to me; "Things are going to be shaken up the same way they have been shaken up for the last eight years". Which is to say:" Things are going to continue the way they have been going for the last eight years and things are going to continue to worsen." In fact, early on in McCain's campaign he said that this whole mess would work itself out without government intervention. He was planning on leaving things the way they are.

One must also reason that if dumb-ass George W. is not capable of master minding this mess we are in, his political machine must have been running the show. This political machine is the very same baggage that McCain will bring to the White House. (Does anyone remember the Republican Financial Guru saying "The recession is in the imagination of the people"?)

I am afraid that, regardless of who wins the election, our country is beyond a point where it can be repaired.

Please feel free to post this on your web site. That may result in me getting a visit from Homeland Security prior to my disappearance from the face of the earth. But what the hell! If you are going to walk on thin ice you had might as well have some fun and tap dance a little!

Best Wishes & God Help Us,

Richard Bowen

Response & Comment from Ed

I believe "Poor" is not a financial condition,  I believe it is a state of mind. If you accept the fact that you are Poor, you always will be Poor. (Ya' gotta' fight back with your last dying breath)

The Government is dumbing us all down !!!!!!  BS media hype and deceitful lies carefully conceived to make us all think we are free!!!!

I especially liked the part about the people from homeland security visiting you. I've always felt that the government wants to control us totally. That is why I am so against the disarming of America.

In Nazi Germany they made you register your guns, then the came around and collected them all.  Then they made you register if you were Jewish,  Then they came around and collected them all too.

Do you remember in all those pictures where they are leading them off to the ovens there was not one single person even trying to put up a fight. How can an unarmed man fight soldiers with machineguns.

They didn't even have hunting rifles which could have been effectively used in a patriotic resistance.

The one thing I can definitely agree on is the fact that it's "too late"  Most people have been very effectively brainwashed or programmed by the political machine that runs this country and the corporate pigs who decide what our next purchase will be before we even know we need it !!!!!!!!
