Just wanted to let you know that I received the Mockingbird in the mail
today. I do apologize that I may have been somewhat of a pain when asking
when it would ship, but it was well worth the wait. When I opened the
case, I instantly sported wood (pun intended) on how it looks. That is the
nicest piece of spalted maple I ever seen on a guitar. The cocobolo center
strip and headstock veneer give it a nice classy look and I can't forget
about that fretboard. I did have to wait until I came home from work to
try it out, but this rig felt like the rock of Gibraltar.
Plugging in, the harmonics from the pickups just jump off the guitar in
any setting clean or distortion. What else can I say about a Floyd Rose
that has not been said before. This guitar literally plays itself and is
perfect timing receiving it as I leave for London tomorrow to jam with
some friends. I will be taking this guitar with me most definitely. Thank
you!!!
