Guitar players I am sorry to say are for the most part
very much afraid to experiment with anything other than
Gibson or Fender. There are exceptions of course but when I
ask someone what kind of guitar they play I will invariably
get an answer like "2 Stratocasters and an SG". To which I
will reply to with something like "Gee that's original"
People have said that the vast majority of Guitar players
are stodgy, weak-minded & brainwashed. I certainly hope not
!!! When I got into this business 34 years ago I was
hoping to deal with creative, innovative forward thinking
people. Not to say that all new products are better, because
that simply is not true. But there are some great products
on the market that go unnoticed simply because of stupidity.
I have a problem understanding how Gibson commands so
much product loyalty, their product is only fair to decent ,
their prices are way too high, their attitude is for the
most part unconscionable and they never seem to have
anything that is new. Fender on the other hand is a good
solid company with good products at good prices and a
warranty department that will treat you with a modicum of
respect (Unlike some others) They still haven't come out
with much that is new for a long time though.

12 String Neck
Mark Slaughter is one of those innovative people who is
willing to experiment with new things, I purchased a
Heritage guitar from him about 5 years ago that was
equipped like those supposedly new Gibson Robot
guitars which BTW have been on the market for 12 years
or more. Mark has had a fair share of odd guitars, he shares
my attitude of not wanting to be like everyone else.
Today the corporate machines that run our country want us
all to be good little lemmings and march off into the sea
together. They want us to all dress alike, eat fast food,
work 6 days a week, shop at Wal-Mart & Guitar Center. They
want us to pay $5.00 a gallon for gas and pay an unfair
amount of taxes. To this I quote Arnold and say. "Fuck
You Asssshole"

6 String Neck
An innovative yet strange looking guitar that will
probably become a very valuable collector guitar someday.
It will take it's place among other eccentric guitars such
as Gittler, Bond, Chrysalis, Mellobar, Bunker & Travis Bean.
Please call us if you are interested or you know anything
about it !!!!
